      First Lucid Control/Intro

I've had lots of dreams where I become lucid, but for some reason it had always prompted me to force myself awake. About a week ago, though, I became lucid and almost forced myself awake, but realized right before I woke up that I wanted to stay asleep and control my dream. I preceeded to fly, but it was really hard and I kept coming down. Then I jumped off of a cliff and fell all the way to the ground, but bounced off the ground when I hit. After that I faded back into normal sleep. Two nights later, though, I was finally able to gain some real control over my lucid dream state. It was still hard to fly, but I could float just fine. I also had a threesome with two hot girls. I kept getting the feeling, though, that what I was saying in my dream, I was saying aloud in bed. And I actually got scared that my wife would hear me cheating on her in my dream. The next part is what really amazes me. I was actually able to force myself awake just enough to look at my wife and see her sleeping, and then fall back into the lucid dream. However, it was soon after that, that I lost lucidity.
After that dream I knew I had to learn as much as I could about lucid dreaming. It was the one of the most amazing feelings to know that I could control my dream life in any way I chose. God, what an amazing experience. I can't wait to be lucid again.

Oh yeah, Intro: I live in Salem, OR. I love cats (have 4 of 'em). 22 yrs old. Aspiring writer/musician. 2nd yr college student. Love getting stoned and watching Walker, Texas Ranger (funniest show on TV).

      Hey Surfer! Welcome to DV.

That sounds like quite the LD! With one of my second LDs, I didn't wake up, but I was awake enough to feel both my sleeping body and my (moving) dream body. It was actually quite cool! It sounds like you're on the right track, though, and a bit of a natural, so you should be lucid again quite soon.

And I'm on the other side of the state, actually. Go Oregon!.... on the other hand, we're kind of wierd.

Welcome to the forum, man. Sounds like a great first experience.

With practice, you'll be able to wake up, stay up long enough to write in your journal, or do whatever you want for a while, and then fall back asleep into the same lucid dream.

And I do suggest starting up a journal, if you don't have one.
