First I must say, |

Hi, I am new to this site and have a few questions, first of all let me explain my experience with LDs. I have had somewhere around 5 that I can remember, but only 1 where I was able to stay dreaming(for a little while at least) while lucid. That was about 2-3 months ago after I had read a little about LDing, and had already experienced it for VERY brief periods of time. |

If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...
Welcome to dreamviews!!! Banana time! |

You are right Seeker, that is why I didn't post anything about your questions, I'd just be saying more of the same... |

Wow. I posted my welcome like an hour ago, now there are 5 more replies than when I left! |

Thanks guys. I still don't really understand the whole shared dreaming and OBEs and that type of stuff, but thats OK. Looking forward to a time when a dream really feels "real" |

I'd suggest you check out Kaniaz's excellent website compilation in the tutorial section for the answers that we haven't been able to provide: http://dreamviews.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1655 |

Also I just thought of this question. For the people out there who are really good at having LDs and maintaining them, how do they normally end? Does it finally just end against your will like it does to me and most new people, or do you finally just decide to wake up? |
|
i regularly have lucid dreams (like everynight that i try to, i can LD), but 99.9% of my dreams are 'fuzzy' like you describe...its just a dream recall thing...like, i can remember multiple dreams a night, but the details are vague...as you're dream recall ability increases, you'll find that vividness (non-fuzziness) also increases...my ability to remember my fuzzy crappy dreams came naturally...for me the battle has been un-fuzzying my dreams... |
|
For me, after a while, they generally just fade away, or some thing from the waking world wakes me(generally alarm clock) |

Wrong topic Truth... |

No, its the correct one. I just brought that quote over from the other thread because he did exactly what was telling the other guy no to do. He was pretty vague himself... |

WOW TRUTH! You sure are on the ball! I'll have to really keep track of what I put out there once I get comfortable enough to get cocky! |
