After reading this site and posting to it the first time i prepared myself to practice some recall.
I have not ever tried to recall dreams and so this is how it went.
My first dream came right after i posted. i slept at my desk at work on my lunch break(ha ha).
i don't recall what happend but i do know that when i woke up i know i had a dream.
later that day i slept for a minute or to at my desk on my later break.(it was a banner day for me, my boss would have been so proud). It did have a dream in the minute or so that i was asleep, and i recall it. I even sort of felt like i was consious in the dream. I have usually been able to sleep at work and most often i dream when i do sleep. They always feel like deep intense sleeps, when i awake i definitely need time to let my brain speed up again. Itis almost a physical sensation in my head when i am waking again.
later that day i went home and napped from 5pm to 7 pm, i dreamed again(this one could possibly have been lucid i recall quite a lot of it and i remember thinking to myself in the dream and also make decisions, feeling hot and cold air on my hands). I hadn't committed myself to journalling at this point but by the time i went to sleep that night i had paper and a marker ready to recall. I fell asleep at 12:30am
by 2:30 am i was up and writing down my dream. whoa it was a good one.
i went back to sleep and awoke once more before my alarm to record a very short dream.
Then awoke by my alarm and hit snooze two times. each time falling back into a dream. The scrible marks i left while recording are pretty impossible to figure out. I will have to work on that.

The first day was pretty successfull as far as recall went.

Last night i didn't write anything down. I only dreamed with recall between the snooze alrm on my clock. This is a usual thing.
snooze, dream, alarm, snooze, dream, alarm.

I most all on my dreams i don't really do much more that see and think/make decisions. sometimes i hear or converse with friends, and once i felt warm and cold.

I have not been able to throw fireballs or fly. I am new at this. It is exciting.

That is all for now, plenty more form me to write about though.
I hope you enjoyed my post.

Welcome to the site and congrat's on the dream recall. Keep at it and you will get better.
To one day say ive been there, and this is how you can get there is the best gift you can give somebody. May we all pass something along that will help us all in our development and understanding in all that is and will be.

Welcome to the board, Nano. You sound like you've got some INSANE potential. I really hope after training to recall dreams for a while I'll be as good as you.

Welcome to the forum, Nano! Glad you found the site.

Good job with your recall so far, just make sure you are writing anything and everything down in your dream journal. This will get you more into the habit or doing it and actually remembering your dreams.

If you haven't already, you should check out the tutorials. There is loads of info available there, as well is scattered throughout the forum - so make good use of the Search option.

Please feel free to post any questions or experiences you may have. Good luck and have fun!

      Thanks everyone for reading.

I must say that that first day was an exceptional one. I think all of the reading and thinking about dreams and, the intent to dream in such a way manifested itself into some really good dream states.

Since then i have only had one recall each night. This is still good i think. I have been pretty busy in the waking life so buy the time i get to sleep, i really need to actually just sleep.

wow this is such an interesting new thing in my life.
I am excited through and through.

Heh heh! The only time I ever slept on my desk was when we were watching Gone With the Wind at school. It wasn't a bad movie at all but it was just long!
