I've been browsing this site for sometime. In fact I used to be a member here but I don't remember the account or password. Oh well, I think I only made like one post or somethin'. I kind of forgot all about this site for a while because of the rushing of point A to B in life.

Anyway, now I'm back! With cupholders! OK not really. But I recently got committed to LDing, in fact, I've been having success in recognize dreamsigns each and every night. The problem is that I only do that when I wake up!

I'd also like to share with you all some dreams that I've had.

Once I remember dreaming about the Earth losing it's oxygen and we could only breathe indoors! The adrenaline-pumping thing was that I actually felt like I couldn't breathe whenever I went outside! I'm not sure but maybe I swallowed a bug or something in my sleep. Well the good thing is that I don't have dreams like that anymore.

Another time was when my brother, my sister, and I were trapped in a huge old maze-like house witha maniac who's tryin' to kill us! It was pretty exciting when we were coordinating ways to escape the house.

I didn't consider that a nightmare, I sensed more of a determined and thrilling feeling rather than a fearful one. Pretty much the only nightmares I've had were ones about freakish prostetics (an artificial human head was one example, actually it looked more like a plastic bag with glowing eyeballs, a hole for a mouth and... a baseball cap?). Well I hope LDing will help with those nightmares because somehow I find being chased by a killer maniac is more fun than looking at a person who's decapitated and debilitated!

      Hey Snake, welcome back! :yumdumdoodledum:

Too bad you forgot your old account, but maybe that's best - here's to your new and improved venture into the world of lucid dreaming

Ah well, see - looks like you're already sort of on the right track with getting rid of the "freakish" nightmares. When you see these artificial limbs, etc, you can simply change them into something else. You associated the head to being a plastic bag. With some control, you could have turned the eyeballs into a couple of eggs (hardboiled?) or something. Then you could have put the baseball cap on and had lunch .

I agree, sometimes getting chased by something - while terrifying during the dream - ends up being more fun or at least thrilling.
