Hi. My name's Nathan, and I don't really know about lucid dreaming and everything, but every so often I'll have very intense, vivid dreams that are very apocalyptic and involved...I'm not really sure what else I should say, I had a dream today that prompted me to look for some answers because it wasn't apocalyptic like my other ones and kind of disturbed me.
Where do we go when we just don't know? And how do we relight the flame when it's cold?
Why do we dream when our thoughts mean nothing? And when will we learn to control?

Hey, welcome to Dv. Do you write these apocalyptic dreams down?
If you do, you might find some recurring themes coming up quite often. Things like the same disaster, or same locations.
Also, check out the search feature, it can direct you to posts which might have answers to any questions you may have.
Look at the tutorials also. There's one for improving recall, as well as spotting your dreamsigns.
If you are having very vivid dreams, they are usually a good springboard for lucidity if you can get to realise you are dreaming.
Remember, being lucid doesn't mean you have to 'do' something. All you have to do is realise you are in a dream. if you do that and wake up without achieving anything, it's still a lucid dream!
I hope i've helped you out some. If you have any more questions, feel free to PM me.
