Hi, obviously my name is Geves and no i did not mispell Jeeves (you'd be surprised how often i get accused of that).

I found this website while looking around for information on lucid dreams and other related subjects. I found this to be the most budding forum of it's kind. which means more people out there to help me/help them, if i can.

I'm currently reading "Dreamscape: A Journey into Alternate Realities" I don't really know anything about the dreamscape thing and it sounded kind of freaky, so i felt the need to re-evaluate my morals. While i was re-evaluating my morals, i remembered that not too long ago i wanted to keep a dream journal and get into lucid dreaming. So i thought before i proceed into dreamscape (which i'm still deliberating). i thought getting into the basics: dream recall, lucid dreaming, journals, ect.

Hobbies: video games, reading, meditation, martial arts (muay thai & judo, little bit of isshinryu karate but i quit that), philosophy, watching movies, and hoping to add lucid dreaming to that list.

thank you for letting me join your message board. it seems like a place full of information as well as helpful people.

P.S: I'm a bit confused about some of the abbreviations posted on this site... but i'm sure i'll pick up on it.

P.S.S: is there any chance that i can start a dream journal here? so that i don't have to write them down in a notebook? not that i have a problem with that, i could always just use MS word. just wondering.

P.S.S.S: i've read the sticky about grammer.. i tend to not put my I's in uppercase (just a bad habbit on the PC), hope that rule isn't strictly enforced/frowned upon.

      Hi Geves!

Welcome to the forum... I've found lots of useful info on here, and I'm sure you will too.

Check out the tutorials section for a list of acronyms/abbreviations that are commonly used.

And definitely start a dream journal! You can use the dream journal forum to get it started, and then each time you add a dream, you just reply to the thread that you started. I keep my journal there for simplicity's sake, but there are also other dream journal websites that offer features not offered here, you may want to do a Google search and check it out before you get started.

Yes! Another Judoka! I'm not very proficient, personally, but I've been involved in Judo for about a year and absolutely love it. Finally earned my yellow belt in May.

Anyway, welcome to DV! We're glad you're here (again) and I think your questions have been covered, so I will simply wish you good night See you around!

Oh, and feel free to ask if you need anything.

Welcome to our humble little forum, Geves.

Its good that your are thinking about lucid dreaming, but I don't think you should be too concerned about morals. I haven't read dreamscapes, but I can safely say that if its new agey, you don't have to believe in it to lucid dream. Its all down to science, and you control what happens in your own head, right?

Hehe... thank you for being concerned about the grammar and spelling here!
