      Thumbs down

Hey, I'm new to dreamviews and new to LD. I'm gonna try it tonight but I've been reading many topics around here and you all are so sure that you have dreams every night. Now I do know that you can't remember every dream that you have but is that true? Does everybody have at least one dream a night? And can I persuade myself to get a "Matrix" dream? You know from the famous movie trilogy. I really want one.

Oh, and I almost forgot. Does LD have any connection to sleep walking?

      Hi Man!

      Welcome on board.
Yes, I remember at least 2-4 dreams a night!
Sleep walking and LD? A tneuous connection at best, but there has been at least one person I remember that said he could control his sleep walking body during an LD. You don't have too many stair-cases in your house, right?
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

Everyone has multiple dreams per night. I've been practicing my dream recall for about half a week and I can remember an average of 1-2 dreams per night.

Also, in the REM cycle (when lucid dreams happen) your body produces a hormone which stops your body from acting out your dreams. This is what SPS (Sleep Paralysis Syndrome) comes from.

But I could be wrong there, I'm a newbie too :]
