Hey guys. I found this site because a friend of a friend claims to be able to control his dreams, so i thought i would google it, and here I am. I am very excited to learn to do this, basically live another life where you control everything. :yumdumdoodledum: Does anyone have any tips for getting started? im starting the dream journal thing and trying to get into the habit of reality check. i also downloaded that subliminal sleep thing where it says i know im in a dream.

Also, i have a question, if you get hurt in a dream, is it possible to feel it in real life? My friends seem adamant on that idea.

Well, if you for example get shot in the head, it might feel like getting hit by a sledgehammer in the dream.
But you won't feel it at waking up, only in the dream, pain doesn't seem to linger so long in dreams either.
Physical pain after waking from a dream should be non-existant.
Though, mentally you might feel it.
After i've been short or otherwise hurt in a dream, i can remember the pain, or so to call... "feel" it.

      Welcome to DreamViews,Matthew91

The Reality Check's and dream journal are a good start, but to learn the basic methods of triggering a lucid dream you need to visit the tutorials section.
