I just recently heard about LD and am completely fascinated by it. I've been telling everyone I know about it. I started trying the Dream Recall techniques two nights ago. First night I didn't remember any dreams. Last night however I kept on saying "I will remember my dreams" as I fell asleep and I remembered TONS of dreams. I figured I had maybe 4-5 pages in my dream journal filled out... Then I woke up. I realized that the entire night I had been having a dream, and then dreaming that I was waking up and writing about it. I woke up and was only able to remember two of waht must have been 10 dreams . I have to say though, the dreams I did remember were amazing...

      yes, that is about right.

One must remember that one is only sampling one's Dream Life.

Here, you can try this on one of the occassions when you have a Lucid Dream -- suggest to yourself to remember a detail of your Lucid Dream Scene, for instance "when was the last time I was near this very spot". What will happen then is that you will have a flood of Dream Memory indicating to yourself that the Dream Persona has quite a full life on its own.

I may be that our Dream Persona is not just Dreaming when we are in on it during our REM Cycles, but may be always dreaming, always active in those Astral and Spiritual Realms of what the Materialists call the Subconscious Mind, but what the Spiritualists call the Collective Consciousness or Spiritual Realms.
