Hello First time sharing of a dream/question.

Hello im New to this. This is my deal. I only heard of Lucid dreaming about 2 weeks ago returning from a roadtrip with some mates. My friend told me it was the ability to enter other peoples dreams which sounds kinda scary at first thought. I put it outta my mind for about 2 weeks then looked it up online. Came to this site and yea found out more about it and read the intro to it and now ive started a Dream Journal which I write in each morning when I wake. Im going to examin my journal in a months time and find how I can improve myself in becoming Lucid.

In my whole life I think ive had maybe 20 or more Lucid or very vivid dreams atleast. Sometimes I can fly but I must concentrate very hard its more like gliding at this point. But im not aware im dreaming I just take it as normal I guess.

      ~Dream~
Last night I had a very vivid dream I was lying in a bed in a strange room talking to a woman id never meet before but I couldnt remember anything about her details even what her face looked like. There was another woman in the room with me a Ghost/Spirit Im not sure. The woman was asking me questions about the Ghost/Spirit becuase she couldnt see her so I was telling her about her but I cant remember much if anything about what I was saying after I woke keeping in mind I wasnt aware I was dreaming, just along for the ride so to speak. This is why I want to become Lucid so I can understand whats going on I hope.

When I woke it was 3am I looked around the room it was how I left it, thought about writing in my Dream Journal while it was still fresh but I was to scared shamed to say the least to even get outta bed at this point so I closed my eyes and tryed to think of something else then my mind started to trip thats how I can best explain it for what only felt like a few moments, then I looked at the clock it read 3:47am I lost alot of time I felt. The closet door was wide open which was outta place because I always shut it before I go to bed as I feel uneasy with it open when im asleep.

I work in this house im a support worker for people with ID's, sometimes I work in another house with a client with schizophrenia. I can not get sleep there at all the room feels so dens its werid also ive talked to another support worker and she felt the same way about working at that house.

      ~Question~
So to increase the chances of becoming Lucid to my understanding is to first make a journal and try for 21+ realitly checks to be preformed daily till you manage to become Lucid and youll know when it happens aye?

You know when something happens in life and you are instantly reminded of a dream you had maybe months ago an you are like wtf?
All I want to get out of learning about this Lucid dreaming is to get a better understanding of my mind if I can. Im very motivated. Theres got to be more to life than we are doing atm aye?

you should *always* do a reality check after you wake up, because you could have had a false awakening.

a great start is keeping your dreamjournal, until you increase your recall to about 2-3 dreams per night. then you can try some techniques like WILD and MILD. reality tests are great also, but you just have to find what techniques work best for you.

You know when something happens in life and you are instantly reminded of a dream you had maybe months ago an you are like wtf?[/b]
that could be a precognitive dream, meaning you saw something before it happened.

GREAT. if you desire to have lucid dreams, and you believe that you can, you should have your first in no time.

Thats not what Lucid Dreaming is.
It's just being aware that you're dreaming when you are dreaming.

      Paperdoll's basically got you covered.

Follow her advice and you'll be LDing in no time.

My advice is to follow the 3-step rule in order:

      1. Recall
      2. Awareness
      3. Lucidity

Try doing it naturally, give yourself wings or something. That might help.
