Thread: Questions.

Hi again,
This morning I had my first two controlled lucid dreams. The first one was strange though. I was woken up in the middle of the night, and of a dream by my father.
I fell asleep shortly after and then I started to float in a space full of blinding light. There was a sort of a square tunnel formed out of broken mirror pieces, floating a little bit apart from eacother, so I could see the light in between. I floated for some time in the maze of the tunnels, untill reaching the end of a tunnel with no more mirrors. Then I quickly accelerated through the light ending up in front of a door in some sort of a dark room. It was jumping between blurryness and a nice sharp picture and sounds. Since I was lucid and just imagined the seaside behind the door and it kindof worked ...
So my question is, howcome was I aware of the dream the moment it started. Did I fall from waking to the dream or what? I would like to know that because it worked in making me lucid.
Edit: Oh and how could one increase the vision, sound, etc, From being blurry and stuff quickly. I tried doing it manually, it worked but wasted most of my time.
