I have only had on LD. It was fun but I got too exited and started to wake up. Typical for the first time I assume.

I just started my journal and I have two entries.

I also have a yellow braclet that I look at during the day for reality checks.

My main questions are...

1.My dream journals seem really long and really random. Is it possible that I am remembering a bunch of dreams that seem like one or that I could really be having a very long dream?

2. I have A.D.D and my mind wanders ALOT! Do you think this could have anything to do with the lack of LD's? Maybe Im so mind wandered that I forget to stop to think if Im dreaming or not.

3. lastly, WILD is very interesting and I have been trying this...is there anyone that has sucessful WILDs at least twice a week?

Hello, brycelynn Welcome to the forum!

It's possible that you have long dreams, but also possible that you are remembering a bunch of dreams at once. Sometimes it's difficult to differentiate. But the main thing is getting it all down in your DJ, which it sounds like you've been doing very well at, so keep up the good work.

I can't really give you any useful advice about the effects of having ADD on LDing. I guess it's possible it would be more diffcult to do techniques like MILD which require concentration and memory.

And unfortunately, WILDing isn't really my thing (wow, I'm turning out to be pretty useless in answering your questions&#33, but there are loads of people here that have success with it. Try doing a search a see what you come up with.

Once again, welcome to the forum and please feel free to post any questions or experiences you may have.

Hi and welcome to the forum

1) Its possible to have remembered a bunch of dreams, do the long dreams you remember "change scene" because that could mean that they were different dreams.

2) Sorty but I don't know much about A.D.D

3) I don't WILD either so I can't really help there. You should try to use other techniques if you are a beginner though as WILD is quite hard to do.

Apart from that enjoy the forum.

I have an entrainment mp3 I can send you so you can play it at night before bed. It's Delta tones that will relax your mind and body and should help. PM your email address.
Note: I can WILD but I consider it to be an advanced task and wouldnt say it's the easiest way to start IMO.

Both are possible. I personally believe that usually, during each REM cycle, we only have one dream, but, "plot holes" can make it seem like there's more than one dream in each REM period. Likewise, you could have a number of dreams that, due to plot similarities, or a common element, seem like one long random dream, but are actually dreams from different REM-cycles.

Your ADD (or is it ADHD? I dunno, I forget which is which... is there a difference?) MAY make your dreams seem more random and disconnected... erratic... then again, maybe not. I don't know all that much about ADD (or ADHD?)

Well, like the previous posters, I don't know much about ADD/ADHD, so all I can do is speculate.

It is POSSIBLE that due to your ADD, you might in a dream, rush from one topic to the next, and forget the previous topic or focus, and thus you might actually not "connect the dots" as easily as some, and forget to do RCs, and there might be a lower chance of becoming spontaneously lucid.

But, like I said, that's all speculation.

I've only had a WILD "come out" twice. What I can tell you, is that, for me at least, you should stick at it! If you practice enough, you will succeed... but, it does take work... the result was worth it though, I thought.

Now, is there anyone who can have successful WILDs at least twice a week? Hmmmm... well, not me, obviously... I know BillyBob_001 has had a lot of success with WILD, and he might be able to have them once or twice a week, maybe more, I don't know... if you haven't already, I'd check out his fantabulous WILD guide. As for other members... I don't know, I can't speak for them...
