When I first joined this forum, I used a lot of the techniques to learn more about LDing and myself - especially how to recognize my dreamsigns. Once I learned about dreamsigns and RCs, I could pretty much gain lucidity quite easily as a DILD.

Everyone is different, so I just found what worked best for me and went with it. Take some techniques and tweak them to fit yourself and your lifestyle. Some members try to use the tutorials as step-by-step cookbook directions, but there is no black and white with dreaming since no one is the same.

Anyway, glad to have you aboard! Please feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions.

Thanks! I do have a question. What's a DILD? You don't have to answer that, I'm about to go see in the Tutorial section Thanks for the advice about the techniques though. I haven't tried any yet (waiting for the weekend, when I don't have to get up a 6AM) but I'm not sure which one I should try anyway. Again, I'm about to go look at the tutorials.

My internet has been down for the past few days which is why I haven't replied, but guess what? I had a lucid dream two nights in a row! It wasn't very long at all, either time, but still, I'm proud that I did it! I'm going to start a new thread somewhere with the details of my first "real" experience so if you want you can look. I'll let you know where it is when I put it up It's exciting!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I really look forward to reading this board ^_^
