Teehee, sorry! Latin: one of my numerous hobbies. Howdy! My name is Laura, and I am seventeen. I've only recently come across the concept of lucid dreaming, and instantly have become interested.
I've never actually had full control, or even partial control, over any of my dreams, so far as I can remember. Some dreams that enter my mind during sleep stay with me forever (I can remember details from some dreams I had almost four years ago), and some enter only once and then disappear from memory. My main interest in obtaining lucidity is to have the dreams I want, mostly flying, for I've yet to experience and
remember a flying dream... I've glided before, but not flown.
Upon my first encounter with a website about lucid dreaming, this one and one I cannot recall at this moment, I decided to give it a whirl, seeing that the reward is definitely worth the wait. I've been keeping a dream journal, trying to get my dream recall to have me remember at least two whole dreams a night, and was doing good up until now, since my schoolwork has overwhelmed me. I'm still going to do constant reality checks, when I can, but believe I won't have full focus on dream recall and relaxation training until I get a big break from school. Until then, though, I still manage to have some details of dreams written into my journal since last month. I hope to achieve lucidity soon when I'm ready, it sounds like absolute fun!
I'm excited about this and hope to become a part of this helpful forum about lucid dreaming.
[Edit] I've
posted my two questions on the Lucid Discussion board, it seems to fit there. [/edit]
