I am trying to LD for 4-5 month, no luck, I practiced Dream Recall and it worked well, I have full notebook of dreams with identified key words and topics. I also do reality check several times a day. I have pretty vivid dreams but I can not seem to wake up in a dream and realizes I am in a dream. I tried different audio presented by Monro institute and other, listening it over night, no effect. I tried WILD but I guess it is herded than MILD or DILD. Please share you experience so I can finally see LD what will make me very happy. I read the forums often and I did take several breaks and still no luck.

      Thanks a lot

Hi Stardv Welcome to the Forum. Those Lucid Dreams can be pretty elusive huh? First and foremost do not get discourage. I think what would help you is repetition. Lets see if we can make certain events in your life a little more habitual and repetitive. I know you're already performing RC's daily but try making them more of an Habit like breathing. For instance try doing this in your waking world, every time you walk through a door say in your mind "Am I dreaming" and trying a RC in the waking world. Do this so much that it should become natural for you to walk through any door and repeat the words in your mind and RC by perhaps looking at your hands. Successfully doing this should carry over to your dream world allowing you to do the exact same thing. That's my idea on it i'm sure others have more input and helpful advice good luck to ya.

Ne-yo gave good advice but one of the best things to do is believe that you can do it, if you have any doubt then it will be hard to do.
Also everyone is different so just be patient.

Sorry I couldn't be much help

      Good luck.

keep doing dream recalls and before you go to sleep just think:
      "I will remember my dreams"
      then think :
      "Reality-Check"

Thank you very much for all your inspiration, it is very helpful to get somebody’s opinion especially if you experienced LD on top of just reading techniques and other material.

What I did was every week or every other week I analyses my writings in DJ and try to give a topic to each dream as well as some subject of actions. Then I try to see if one of the subjects is more frequent then the other, for example: friends, guns. However the problem is that it is hard to do RC on dream signs since either some of them are too frequent that all I have to do is RC all the time or some of them I never get to do in real life like GUNS.

Also I remember to do RC only when I remember about wanting LDs, even though I do it 5-10 times a day, I even have a note in my Outlook calendar so any time I look at my schedule I do RC but I can not seem get to automatism.
