ok i jus remembered that i have always had dreams where im running away from stuff trying to kill me and i realize that i am dreaming but i dont remember trying to take control, i just always remember telling my self to wake up so the guys didnt catch up to me and kill me.. lol. are these sort of like lucid dreams?

and btw i heard that u are always supposed to wake up before u "die" in dreams, is this true? i have been in many dreams where i have been shot and i could c myself laying there on the ground dead. its kind of freaky

A dream is termed "lucid" if you realise you are dreaming. That is ALL that being lucid is. However, as you gain more experience, you can start to exert control in dreams.

If you "die" in a dream, you do not die in real-life... that's superstitious nonsense, so if somebody tells you that, pay no heed. I've died before in dreams, and lived afterwards. So, next time you die in a dream, *try* not to wake up, if you're lucid. IF you're not, just try and train yourself to not panic. It could be interesting to see whathappens. Nothin in dreams can hurt you in real-life, so, maybe you would be killed and then ressurected within a dream? Whatever were to happen, it'd be interesting.

Has anyone really died in a dream?

I can't ever remember dying in a dream. Considering how big of a topic it is, just surprised that I don't even remember dying once in a dream.

Laugh if you pulled out a stick and started poking your dead body lol
As waves of plastic fame go out of fashion, You're going out (going out) forever unknown. These waves of plastic fame go out of fashion, You're going out (going out) forever unknown.

From above a rain of ashes descends anathema. I will remain, forever will remain. From below, in my seclusion, look up to the sky to see See paper wings and watch them burn.
