Strange Things

Hi! this is my first post and i have a few things to ask:

Once, I dreamt I was in bed. An unrecognisable female voice was saying my name and asking if it was really me. I was too afraid to open my eyes or anything. What the hell is this?

I hate it when somebody is in my room waking me up, and I want to reply to what they are saying, but I am unable to. Was I just half asleep?

Last: Dreams are only supposed to last for about 25% of your time sleeping. What happens if it lasts for longer? I think I had this happen to me once.

1) May be old hag. May be nightmare. Could be alot of things, actually.

2) Probably sleep paralysis.

3) Your cycle will recorrect itself for a few minutes either way, but you will probably feel not as refreshed if you disrupt your cycle too much.

when you're dreaming time can become distorted...i've dreamt whole days or even weeks in a single dream, and woken up to realize i was only asleep for a few hours...

Also, What do you do when you dream about dreaming. It gets really confusing and you are tired all day!

Yes dreaming can cause some people to become tired, especially confusing or lucid ones.

To comment about that voice, it could be a lot of things, but most likely a dream.

I also have no idea what old hag means either.

Of course... he's British.
