this is very confusing because i dont know what i can do about it. and especially the last couple of weeks i cant remember my dreams (its also the time that i joined the forum) can it be that i am to exited to dream? oh i dont smoke or something like that.

Do you keep a dream journal? Those really help. Also, when you wake up in the morning, keep your eyes closed as you try to remember. It also might help to start from the end of your dream, think "Okay, so what happened before?" and keep going like that. I do everything I mentioned and it works great.

      And your English is fine!

Perhaps you should try some relaxation techniques to avoid the anticipation. It's kinda like good sex. Ya gotta relax to really get into it.

I dismissed dreams as trivial when I first heard about keeping dream journals. Then I learned that dreams can be very symbolic and can help us out with what is going on in our lives.

Before I had my first LD, I had several dreams that seemed significant but I was confused about their meaning. After meditating on it for a few days, I finally found a profound personal meaning to the dreams. It was after my acceptance (consciously and subconsciously) that dreams can really help me out that I had my first LD. Personally, I believe that dream therapy is a valuable tool in growing ourselves.

It also helps to set your mind to wake up immediately after your dream so its easier to remember the dream.

Also, focusing on your senses throughout the day can help in dream recal, and also how vivid your dreams are (lucid or non lucid). So for example, look at shapes of things, study things. Any and every objecty ou want to. A door, the desings on a door. Your keyboard. Focusing on how things feel, the different textures.

A dream journal, like the ones above me have said, is a great way to help recal. Even events during the day can trigger memories from a dream.

Relaxing before you go to sleep. Telling yourself you will remember your dreams when you wake up can also help on dream recal. Try not to get frustrated by this "dry spell". Know that it will pass, and know that you will remember your dreams.
