      Cool

Hello, my name is Krissy, I’m 23 years old an Aquarian, I live in Adelaide, the capital of South Australia.

I was referred to this page by a friend after I mentioned that a lot of my dreams are very strange and sometimes confusing. Often I am fully aware that I am dreaming when I am dreaming, but as of late my dreams have been very disturbing and I find that I am waking myself up to escape them. This is a problem, not only because it disturbs my sleep, but because I am never able to finish my dream and see what it is trying to tell me. Also on the odd occasion I have to stop and try remind myself if something did in fact happen or if it was just in my dream (I get a few funny looks now and then when I mistake something I dreamt I was told, for something that I was actually told

I joined this group partly out of curiosity, but mostly to try and better understand lucid dreaming, and how to control myself whilst dreaming, I hope to teach myself to better understand and interoperate what I am dreaming for, how I dream and what I can learn from my dreams.

      Thank you for having me.
      Sweet dreams

      Hi Krissy

I agree with Rav1. Don't escape your dreams. Remember this "You are the Dream, the Dream is not you." You are already ahead of the game by having the ability to acknowledge the dream. Now use this element to your advantage. I guarantee you if you stick it out and just let your thoughts conquer you will not be disappointed. To me lucid dreams that are a little terrifying are the best link for control. Remember nothing could ever harm you in the dream. So make your own script besides you're the star of it so make it worth your while. Good luck

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

This is a great place, for the most part VERY helpful people, and very nice people. We have a great Lounge area leading from just Casual Talk to Random Pointlessness. If you have any big problems you can always ask in the Help! Forum as well. Almost everyone here would be glad to help you if you need it.

Even those not here for LDing are welcome. Now if only we had cookies and pie...

Any questions, be sure to ask! Again, Welcome to DV!
