      So this Lucidity thing sounds AMAZING to me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me like the perfect way to vent stress; life is bad, so let's go fly around the dream world!

      But I need to learn Dream Recall first. I'm in high school, so waking up in the middle of the night while I'm tring to get rest seems like an issue. Anyone have any insights? I'm not sure if it would be refreshing/beneficial to wake up and record dreams, or if it would just ruin the rest I was trying to get.

      And I know that Lucidity can be detremental if performed to much (or so I've heard) because your brain is active when it should be restful. I wouldn't be abusing this, but I really do want to learn.
      Lucidity = "No really, I'm seriously in my own little world!"

      Lucids = 0
      Best Dream Moment Yet = Running turkey races through the supermarket (me being a turkey) XD

      This maybe an negative effect, but your are not havin a luicid dream every time you sleep. When you read more threads in this forum you will notice, that even experienced lucid dreamers have 3-4 luicid dreams a month. So you will not notice...but perhaps I'm wrong.

      The more experienced users should know: Do you feel less recreated form sleeping when you have LDs ?

      Greetings

      Hi, welcome!
      My first lucid dreams kept me fully awake for an hour after I had them, because of the excitement. I actually woke up very relaxed and happy
      I also have that high school issue, my dream journal is pretty empty, so untill I get better recall I'll never know how many lucid dreams I really am having. Because waking up in the middle of the night didn't work for me very well via the alarm, I'll rather try selfhypnosis some time soon. So when I'll be able to wake up douring the night spontaneously, I'll probably just write down some key points that would help me remember. Maby that's something you could try also?
      I really don't know how much damage lucid dreaming could do, some people are natural lucid dreamers after all. And there really is almost no difference betwen a normal dream and a lucid one as I understand it. In one dream you aren't aware of an outside world, in the second you are.
