Thread: Hello Everybody!

Hey there BPolar! Glad you decided to register. This forum is chock full of useful info regarding LDing and other dream-related topics.

If you haven't already, you should check out the tutorials, and I'd also recommend utilization of the Search function to get answers to questions that may have already been covered. But, as always, please feel free to post any questions you may have.

Like you, a lot of people first have lucid experiences as a child - which is also true for myself. Most of the time, children become lucid to escape nightmares, but as we get older, our need to escape our dreams tends to diminish so we seem to "lose" the ability to LD. Though it's not really lost - you're just rusty, that's all!

As for smoking the green stuff, as you've already read, it really negativity impacts dream recall. You may have had some LDs lately but just never remembered them! Keeping a dream journal will help develop your recall, but know that the marajuana is what's really holding you back.
