      can you go from SP to an LD and is this a good way of having an LD?

      yes you can go from sp into a ld it is called wild. It is very hard to master for most people (ive only had 2) but again for most people ( me included) it is sort of like the holy grail of lding. being able to have an ld start from the start of your dream, and whenever you want! so in my opinion it is yes to the second question too, but its different for everyone.

      Yes you can.
      Sleep paralysis most often seems to occur at the point of waking up. (It is a state that your mind has not issued a response to your motor functions that you are not in a dream any more)
      But being in this state and being aware of this state gives you the advantage of inducing a lucid dream.

      There are times where HH (hypnopompic hallucinations) can occur that can be very close in nature to SP. HH can also be taken into a lucid dreaming state of mind.
