Hey, im turps (well not my real name) i recently fell into the world of ld and so on by looking for mind exercises to help me write more creative songs lol but im glad i did find it. I didn't even know it was possible or heard of it until about a week ago. I can remember 1 or 2 ld from when i was little (maby about 11) where my and my m8 and some one eles who i don't know were running in my house and i said "where dreaming" but they didn't believe me lol. My dream recall was pretty much non existent until this week but they have only been fragments of dreams and not very realistic and blurry and abit dissapointing ect. But i guess its good actually being able to remember dreams abit lol . I have yet to have a ld past the age of 11 and im now 17!

i have a few questions that im not sure of,

      1) Will all my dreams be blurry and will i only ever remember fragments of dreams?

      2) If i keep making a dream journal will my dreams become more vivid and realistic?

      3) When people have Ld are they more realistic to normal dreams?

      4) After a while of having Ld's will they become even more realistic and maby even life like?

      *edit*

i should also mention that my sleep pattern isn't that good, i go to bed at maby 1am or 2am and it takes me about an hour to go to sleep (usually my head is all over the place) some times i cant sleep and it gets me stressed which makes it harder to sleep. I get stressed when i have to wake up at 8am to go to 6th form the next day! If i improve this would it help with dream recall and ld?

      Welcome to the forum turps

Most people have lucids as a way to escape form nightmares when they are younger.

      With your questions:

      1) Your dreams will become less blurry over time especially with a DJ. They will stay blurry and unrealistic if your sleep patterns stay bad though.
      2) BY using a DJ your dreams should become more realistic.

      3) It depends on how vivd your lucid is in the dream. My first few lucids were blurry and dull with little control but after the first few they got more realistic and vivid.

      4) Same with question 3.

      Hope this helps

Hey welcome to the forum dude. Some people htink thier dreams are blury because they dont remeber the dreams. As you keep up your dream recall, your dreams will be more vivid and clear. Some people feel that LDs feel more realistic then normal dreams. i agree with that, lucid dreams have a real life quaity to them. Also, start getting to bed and dont stress out, ti will help alot
