Thread: Help! Why am i dreaming things i dont like or wans think!!!

First of all...i encourage you to NOT HATE GAYS...they are people, with a different lifestyle.

Second...i think i have had dreams about being gay, and it means nothing...its just a dream. Don't worry about it, man. Your heterosexual in the waking life, just perhaps your afraid of being gay, or you passionately don't want to so your subconcious dreams about it!

In a way i am, but why would my subconcious want to torment me...how woud i tell my suconcious no and never have it happen ever again...i know it can be done...is their something i need to do in the real world that would change this...cause usually if i change something in the real world it will effect my dreams.

Secondly, it is not a good idea to introduce yourself to a forum and make the declaration that you hate gays. You don't know what kind of response you'll get. There are people who would, and probably will, flame you for saying something like that.

Well, for your question. Maybe you should not dislike gays so much. I know that the more you don't want to think about something the more you will end up thinking about it...

Its like Lowercase said. Its just a dream. I think that the media has hyped up a view of dreams. They are portrayed in the movies and such like they're what you want to happen, but they're not. They're just random and psychological stuff most of the time.

Yeah I agree with LC don't hate gay's because they are different, they're just people with different lifestyles we gotta except everyone. Maybe deep down you may want to experiment and if thats the case then thats something you may have to deal with. But you gotta find a way to surpress whatever feelings toward Gays that you have, thats the first step.

I have had dreams like that, and although I personally think it's really horrible (no offence, anybody), you need to realise that some people think differently from the way you do.

And Lucidity can be used to help do whatever the heck you want in your dreams. Like change it.

personally i hate my subconcious, and i think it hates me back...mine torments me with images and dreams that i dont want for seemingly no reason, and i dont see why that cant happen to someone else as well...it prolly has more to do with your fear of them...learn to accept gay people as they are, people, and i think you'll find these dreams will go away...you seem definately homophobic, and you really should learn that a person is a person...and, as for myself, i generally choose to fear people who might actually somehow harm me...gay people are just gay people, that deosnt really harm anybody, while on the other hand a rapist or mass murdurer would be a good person to fear, as you might get raped or murdured...see? sry if im rambling...

I've had semi-gay dreams as well. Didn't progress beyond kissing.
I am a hetero male with a family.
It was an interesting experience, a little shocking, but not unplesant.

Just go with the flow. Maybe your higher self is trying to teach you something
