Hey, I've not been sure about how to classify how long I've been lucid dreaming, you can either go with:
      1. I've been lucid dreaming since I was 9
      2. I've only really started getting interested in dreaming and what it's all about 2-3 months ago, so that's what counts.
      Anyway, I'll carry on:

Whenever I realise that I'm dreaming, I never have any incentive to try and do anything except go along with the dream!
I do know that I have dream control, so you don't need to worry about that. But what I want to know is: How can I get the desire to begin to use my dream control, to test my limits in lucid dreaming!?

      Hello tissuefox.
I think that is great that you let your dreams play out as they will. That is unique. Most people only desire control.
At times I like to also just let the dream unfold. I feel our dreams can show us a lot. Being lucid through the event is great without any use of control.
I would ask yourself, Why don't I desire control?

If you do decide too, I would imagine you would just have to administer it as you would as if you were awake. Like they say...Just do it.

      hello tissuefox and welcome.

A suggestion for another newbie. During you waking hours, think about a place to go in your dream, something simple, that you would like to dream about. Concentrate on it just before going to sleep and when your having your LC, go for it.

After than you can test your limits (if there are any)

      Happy dreaming.
