Hey, I'm New!

Hey everyone! My name's WinryRockbell (not my real name of course) and i'm 15, ive been waiting for about a year to finally become a member of this site! I've only really had 4 LDs in my liftime that i can remember so im not really experienced. I really like this site because i can finally have some intelligent conversations with intelligent individuals. All of the people at my school can't take this topic seriously, that bugs me . But anyway, i have been really trying to LD for a while now, and it's getting harder, i used to be pretty good at it, but now i'm finding that whenever i realize that i'm dreaming i suddenly get distracted and continue with my ordinary dream...anyone know a way to stay focused? If you could lend me a hand i would be very grateful! Thanks!

Hi and welcome! There are many techniques to keep yourself in a LD. I myself haven't tryed most of them, but here are some I remember, that I think can be used in this way.One is quite simple and obvious- Keep telling/thinking to yourself that you are dreaming and then maby spinning, rubbing your hands together, concentrating on different objects. Someone more experienced will probably answer you better, that's all I can do . Hi again and see you around the forums!

you could try to wild maybe. you start out right at the begining of a dream so you cant just continue what you were doing. only problem is that wilding is a pretty hard technique ( for me anyway) it might take longer to figure out how to wild than to figure out this problem lol good luck
