I did WILD successfully 6 out of my 8 times, all being my first trys. Well I take that back..... I got the buzzing, loud noises and went out of my body but then got false awakenings.... so I never got totally lucid. I wanted to try another method, whats the best way for you guys? Thanks

DILD is best for me, I don't rely on methods they just confuse me and give me a head ach, simple recall is all it takes and a nice amount of desire to be lucid

I try on and off usualy takes about a week in a half to a week to get my recall right, then I read my dreams over again before going to sleep, decide what I might want to do in the dream and then just go to sleep I may wake up random times which I do reality checks but not usualy during the day RC's, and I usualy will begin to have lds everyother night or so depending on my luck, and if I get my usual 8 hours of sleep. I also have them when I sleep in becouse my mind thinks it's time to wake up at 6:30 so I'm usualy more conscoius at that time.

If you want to try my way, get a nice feel for what it's like to be in a dream.

ok cool, thanks. Does it matter what time you go to sleep? Like tonight I will probably go to sleep around 1am. Is 8am a good time for my rem sleep, or how does it work depending on what time I go to bed?

Your rem cycle is determined always by the time you fall asleep, rem sleep accures every 90 minutes or so and expands throughout the night.
mulitples of 90 or good times to wake up

2:30
4:00
5:30
7:00
8:30
Don't wake up at all of them there just examples, of when your rem sleep will probably start, take for example you wake up at 7:00 when you go back to sleep your brain is ready to enter rem, which means that if you wanted to ld you would remember to easier if you didn't have to wait some 30 minutes to enter rem, and if you wake up during a rem period chances are you will remember a dream easily.

Good luck

Thanks LDGod, yea I know exactly what your talking about. Its alot easier to get out of my body when I wake up during a REM cycle.
