Thread: Lucid Crossroads

I don't know if you guys have heard of it before, but there's a place called the lucid crossroads. It's sort of a meeting place where you can meet in your dreams. I don't know if you can actually meet people, but the site gets pretty detailed in it, and if you guys can try it that would be awesome, if you meet anyone post info. I've heard that it is good to tell someone a code in your dream EX: you meet your friend in a dream and want to know if it is really him dreaming. Tell him to tell you "redcat" or some other small phrase, the next time you see eachother. This will help you meet people. Just a cool idea i think.

well the crossroads thing

it seems like theres some kinda system that you are supposed to connect to and your friend does also ? unless theres some kind of universal framework which everyone can tap into


i just dont think its possible unless


maybe if you have the ability to send thoughts to another person/communicate

(not sure if i believe that)


but as for the mind connecting to a database to interact with other people in your dreams i doubt that part

Why are you so sure about this? Haven't you heard hypotheses about human brain being nothing but a receiver, like a radio antenna for example, that receives a signal emitted or projected from somewhere else?

has anyone had any success visiting this place? i just found the crossroads site and wanted to post something here. I did a search instead of opening a new thread...so anyone been to the crossroads?

Well Pcmsurf this is actually true. My sister has the ability to tap into my dreams at random. I believe the ability that she holds is based off of things passed down and plus the fact that we are brother and sister. She is trying to incorporate the at will ability where she can do it and set her mind up to transmit herself into someones dream before she enters...


Hey wait I just figured something out. Switch doesn't enter REM when she shares. She does it from Non-Rem Periods. She's cut off by way of REM sleep. SHIT! thats the reason why she's having a hard time. Sorry Im rambling to myself and typing at the same time. Get back to you guys later. I think I've just stumbled on something HUGE. Can she whenever come into someones dreams?
Anyway, I wonder what the cause is that some have the ability to do this.

My sisters is triggered from a direct closeness of imediate family. It doesn't go beyound that. As far as I know the gift skipped over me and hit her. My grandmother was a Mutual dreamer from what my mother has told me. So she has somehow gained this ability perhaps through the passing of genes. I don't have it. But she doesn't know how to produce it that well. We are still working this out.
