So, I was browsing halflife2.net, a gaming site, and I saw a topic called "I finally did it!". You can guess what I thought it was about...
But when I clicked it, he said somethin crazy about he finally achieved lucidity in a dream.
I'm usually very skeptical about things like this, and I read more in the topic. Nobody bashed it, in fact many people congraulated him and others said they were trying the same thing.

So I was confused. I mean, this is the Internet! Almost no one makes a topic about things like that and doesn't get bashed into the ground. So I figured I'd look it up in Wikipedia (I use it for when I just want to get the gist of something I don't understand, then I go to more specific sites), and I found it was scientifically proven that you can control your dreams and do whatever you want.

I became very excited after reading the main Dream Views website (read everything) and I decided to start a dream journal (I can barely remember any of my dreams, but I do remember one a couple of days ago).
So that was yesterday, and I couldn't remember any dreams last night. But I read it usually takes from a week to months to get it down, so I'm patient.

I've also decided to start RCs, because you never know when you can become lucid. I want to be ready...

So, hi everyone!

Hi Sagea! Welcome to the forum! Isn't it funny that something like lucid dreaming isn't well known by the general public? Once you've done it, you'll fully appreciate the possibilities that are open to you. I mean, you spend every night sleeping anyway, so why not have some kick-ass dreams and have some fun! Once people realize that lucid dreaming is not new age, they've wondered why they've never heard about it before.

Good luck and have fun

Thanks, yeah it is crazy.
You would think there would be all kinds of lessons and stuff being taught at school or public lessons... but hey, whatever. People would probably use it as escapism, so I guess it's kinda a good thing it's not so well-known.

Hello, I think lucid dreaming isn't well known because of the fact, throughout most peoples life they were scamed by the "too good to be true" scam, most people think lucid dreaming is not as good as it sounds, take for example a little kid is on the computer and an ad says that you have won 1 million dollars, the kid would get all exited, but there is no one who falls through with those ads as an adult, simply because 99% of the time, it's too good to be true.

To lucid dream is my real test
To control them is my cause

Yeah, probably is.
I figure though, if it's been scientifically proven, it's real.
I guess most people stop at the main page, when they see something "outlandish".
, not me.
