I just wanted to say hi to everyone. I have already really enjoyed this forum so far, but this is my first time to post. I am not new to the topic of lucid dreaming but I have just recently had my first FULLY lucid dream where I was actually able to control things. I have had many dreams in the past where I realized I was dreaming but it was usually just a defensive mechanism (Ex: In a nightmare or a dangerous situation I tell myself "It's just a dream" but never went fully lucid.) Then with my first real LD I got so excited I woke up before being able to really do anything. Recently I had my first full blown LD and it was so awesome!!!

I was throwing boulders and trees with my mind and made several attempts at flying. Unfortunately my flying was more similar to moon hopping; but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it.

I also have a question about WILD. I think that I come pretty close to having this experience often, but I'm not really sure. I've never actually tried to do it or use the techniques described in this forum, but I often have strange experiences as I am drifting off to sleep.

When I am still between sleep and consciousness I can find myself able to distort light and shadows with my mind in a dimly lit room. I am still not asleep and I realize that I am drifting in & out because sometimes I can't figure out if my eyes are closed or open. If I think about it too hard I will wake up completely, but other times I will see an attic above the ceiling and it's like the celing is transparent and I can see into a room that is not really there. Sometimes I can make doors appear and other strange distortions. But they are never as vivid as my LD experiences. Is this WILDing and if so, what can I do to improve on it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
