Hi there, and welcome!

By and large, I'd say that your fear is unfounded. Most of us have the opposite trouble -- we wake up way to soon when having a LD. I can't say that there is any 100% guaranteed way to wake up exactly when you want to, but you can't get stuck in a dream indefinitely -- you will always wake up when your body is ready to. Having said that, there are several methods that people use to wake up "on demand" -- closing your eyes in the dream is one, though I've never tried it (like I said, my LDs don't usually last long enough for my satisfaction to begin with). Also, you usually will wake up if you get rather excited in your dream, and usually this is in relation to sex, so if you want to wake up you might try doing something sexual -- what the heck, if it doesn't work, at least you might have some fun!

Anyone can! A lot of people have been having great LDs since they were 5 or 6. We have many here, such as LucidDreamGod, who are young (16) and are amazing at LDs. LDing is not that hard to accomplish if you put your mind to it!
