      Greetings! I am new to this sight, but not to Lucid Dreaming. I don't know who to ask, but I am having a problem understanding what the difference is between Lucid Dreaming and OBE's. Another thing is that I seem to go in spurts. For instance I will be doing well until I have personal problems and then nothing.

      I have had many Lucid Dreams, but seem to have no control. It just seems to happen and usually when I have to get up. I want to learn to control Lucid Dreaming and have OBE's more than anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

      Lucid Dreams are dreams where you know you are dreaming. OBEs are, by definition, actually leaving your body and traveling what is called the Astral Plane. Some believe that OBEs are just very intense Lucid Dreams, but thats all up to beliefs.

      Those spurts are normal, and you just explained to yourself why you are having them. Personal Problems lead to stress, stress inhibits lucid dreams and even remembering your dreams.

      You can find a wealth of information on this site and forum about Lucid Dreams, Remembering dreams, inducing lucids ect. I suggest browsing the forum, you'll be surprised at how much you'll find
