Hello everybody, I am quite new to the world of lucid dreaming so I thought I’d sign up to learn more about it. I will also like to share a weird experience I had today in the morning and what people think about it.

I woke up today, at 6:00 am, and saw that I had 20 minutes before I had to get up for school. So I dozed off again and must have entered a dream quickly. I had a typical dream where I was at school and interacting with various dream characters. Somewhere in my dream I found myself walking through a hall and I think I saw one of my friends who past away last year. (Keep in mind everything was vivid until now). All of sudden I get what feels like a head rush. Everything becomes really blurry and I can’t make anything out anymore. All of a sudden it feels like I am moving through time at a very high rate and it doesn’t feel good at all. Everything around me is going at a high rate of speed and I can’t make anything out. I am pretty good at waking myself when nightmares are about to occur or in the middle of them. But this felt too real and I just couldn’t wake up. It went on like this for a little while and it finally stopped and I found myself waking up slowly. I felt really weird when I woke up and my body felt like it was really light. I think I had a bit of SP because I just felt really odd. Does anyone have any idea what I may have experienced?

Welcome to Dreamviews nosound! Enjoy your stay!

Pretty interesting dream. But I find it was just that a normal dream. Upon seeing your friend whom has past away, you felt overwhelmed and likely confused. Probably messed with your subconscious a little and knocked it a bit, causing the dream to move like that.

Or, we could take the interpretation route and say that you feel that after your friend's passing, life is just moving much to fast for you. Or, a better interpretation might be that your not moving on. Since your friends death, you've been at a standstill in your life. Everyone else is going about theirs, but you are not. Moving on, is not forgetting him.

If you have any questions, be sure to ask. We have many people here and almost all of them would be willing to help if they can. We even have a forum near the bottom entitled Help! if you have deep personal issues you'd like some strong advice on, which may be good if you want to talk about and try to move on from your friend's death.

      Again, welcome to dreamviews!

      Thanks for the welcome

It could be that after my friend past away,I may feel like life is moving at a high rate. I just found it odd since I never experienced a dream like that. What I thought at first is that maybe it was the transition from the dream world to the waking world. Kind of like what people experience when they wild and move into the dream world. I’ve had at least two prior dreams about him and they were both good dreams.
