      Hello Everyone,

I found this forum on monday, the day after having a LD the night before. I think it was a WILD. I woke up in the night and managed to stay conscious whilst I fell asleep. I went through a period where my body felt like electricity, it was a little disturbing but I managed to relax and stay with it. At the other end I felt like I was floating in space. After spinning a little I saw the moon, headed for that and ended up standing in my bedroom. it all became quite vivid and I really new I was dreaming and had the thought that everything that I could see was a construct of my own, which was quite strange. I walked through walls and manipulated the banisters on the landing which felt like clay. i tried to float some objects but had difficuty doing this. It lasted about five minutes. I had another similar dream on wednesday but less vivid and more chaotic.

I've had Lucid dreams before but never quite like this. Any tips on how to keep the dream going? it seemed to fade quite fast. Spinning was great to make it more real, but still didn't stop the dream fading.

I am amazed to find this forum and so many other people interested in this.

      thanks

      Rich

      Hey Rich Welcome!

Sounds like you kept it together pretty good considering the vibrations and stuff.

Sometimes I find something stable in the dream scene to prolong the LD. I stare at the ground or my hands. It seems to bring to focus the dream content again.

Hey there Richard, welcome to the forum!

I find a good way to make these sort of dreams last longer is by sticking to logic for the most part, I go though simple times tables when I fell the dream fading and I suppose that keeps my mind focused on something stable. Hands are also a good way to go, like Howetzer said.
