      Feeling Alive

As i have not yet become Lucid since joining this forum i have a couple of questions. After reading many tutorials, websites and book extracts i still dont quiest know what the exact moment of becoming lucid the first time is like.
I mean many people have told of theyre fist experiences but not the feeling in detail. I'm not sure if that's because it was too hard to remember or something else but the curious itch needs a scratch to say.

So what is the moment like, do your 5 senses all perk up, such as being able to see something you couldnt moment before, can you now feel and take control of bodily functions?
Is it the equivelant of being tired and then having cold water dumped on you and all of a sudden your awake..or something similar?

Any help is appreciated, as it will pave another tile on my path to freedom!

Cya guys, have a good one
      n00bs i love you

It is like that feeling you get when you look down and find a five dollar(uh pound) note lying on the ground.

You are suprised, a little shocked, and really happy
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

For me its an epiphany of my thoughts and my senses, It feels like I know who I am, what I am doing here...

Its like waking up from a fuzzy dream actually... and the fuzzy dream is this reality we converse in now.

And interestingly.. Your title is well suited.. becuase that is what it feels like but on another level from what we experience here and now.

      Its awsome =D

I shall try to explain this as good as I can, and when you experience an ld, you will understand. It is like this... I see pictures, but do not know that I am seeing them. I am watching a movie, and the plot is unfolding in front of me. Then the amazing happens, I realize I am not watching the movie, I am starring in it. Everything becomes very bright for a moment and I feel a natural high. I look around and everything becomes clear, almost too clear. The blur, the faded non-color reality that my dreams appear to me in turn into beautiful color and clarity arises. Everything is more real than real. I look at walls, chairs, trees, the sky, the people... all of this is like I am walking down the street in reality, except I know that I am in control and that this is a fantasy world made by me. I take a deep breath, it is air, but it is not. I feel just like Neo from the Matrix the first time he was jacked in, touching the chair and saying, "This isn't real?" It is unbelieveable and amazing at the same time. The feeling of the breeze on my face, the smell of the bad breath of the man you stopped to talk to, the brightness of the world... how did I create such beauty?

When i am lUCIDting i dont think i have the notion of weight or put it this way my brain cant tell me.

speaking to people can be hard sometimes to.... the sound is muffled... and sometimes makes no logikal sense.... and smell.... thats near impossible for some reason i do not know... tho it could be my constant blocked nose in reality (:

what about transforming to fit through a small hole or to duck into another level of the dream... that doesnt hurt... when i look back i would say condensed milk would be a good discription...

Images can sometimes be extremely clear... whilst i have had very uncomfortable times where my eyes are blurred..... and i run or walk in massive pyschotic fits...

      being shot doesnt hurt either.

as to your ETA on lUCID-001 well... my theory is that you searching to much or working to hard... like i said in another topic.... it will happen when you least expect it... if all else fails take up some form of natural stimulant as suggested in a previous topic... forget the name... personally i smoke mary-jane quite a bit.... wether this has anything to do with the ability to lucid more i do not know....

Well...the first few are like that...but generally you learn to CONTROL that, because it can really inhibit lucid dreams. (the jolt of excitedness)

Anyway, i reccomend you chill out, 'mate'. It will come, and don't be too stressed, there are individual differences in the frequency of having lucid dreams...if you need any help i will gladly do so, or even adopt you.

      PM me anytime...
