Thread: Hi, I'm New To Dream Views

Hi all,

Im Tom Charlton.

I'm Twenty Two years old and I live in Victoria Australia.

I finished high school, then a few years later started a graphic arts course which I dropped out of in the latter half of 2006.

Right now I work as a Labourer for two guys who own a little renovation buisiness. A father and son.
I have only been there two weeks and one day but so far its been really good and I'm learning about Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Demolition, Plastery, Roofing and heaps of other crap that it takes to create a functional house. Also I'm learning how to use alot of tools, and to start out I had absolutely no idea how to use any of them so the father and son are teaching me alot.

I am going to work there to earn some money, and so I can do the same sort of the things I learn there to create a house of my own one day. But I am going to make it ultra self sufficiant using solar power, water tanks, septic tanks, grown food and so on...

Long term I want to help change the way human beings think about living in our environment using some smarter, less proffit based, methods of energy and food production and consumption.

I've been having experiences with Lucid Dreaming for a while now, since I was fairly young.
Recently I got some information on how to train yourself to achieve lucidity more easily and more regularly, and I wanted to learn more and have some fun along the way.

Right now I'm working on my journal, identifying dreamsigns in there and doing regular reality checks.

Out of posting here I hope to make some friends that I can relate to, learn alot, have a laugh and be an active participant in this open forum about Lucid Dreaming.

I am here because it seems like alot of really cool, intelligent, fun and experienced dreamers are here. And because clearly alot of awsome and inspiring converations are taking place here using this website.

I love art. I love experimenting. I love learning. I love music. I love movies. I love life, and I love dreaming.

Thanks for reading, and now that the introduction is over, let the games begin!

Hey Tom.My name's Evan,mate.I live in Sydney.I'm fairly new to dv's as well,but have been ld for quite some time.Looks like we share the same interests,especially music-i'm a guitar teacher.This is a great site and you're right,there are a lot of intelligent people that post on here,also very open and honest.It's good that we have somewhere to share our experiences without being ridiculed.I don't know anyone in my social circle or family who has these experiences,so this is a great release for me.Anyway,welcome aboard mate and good luck with the new job.
