      I'm new ^^

Hi although I've known about LD for years, I've never really tried to train myself until yesterday.
Just started writing a journal, but my first log was rather weak. I went to bed as optimistic as I could and concentrating on the task. (one problem is that I've a rather cynical personality).
I remembered 2 dreams but they were far from spectacular and I couldn't remember much detail. Very "gray" and normal and hardly anything that could've made me lucid I believe.
Ah well I guess I'll need to be patient.
No questions really but any suggestions would be welcome, perhaps someone here "started" the exact same way.

      WELCOME Syn
I think you will find that persueing Lucid dreams a little more may turn out to be benificial. You can use LD's for improving cynical attitudes. But it takes a little work just as anything that comes with reward!

Hey syn, dont worry, dream recall is hard, many people have problems with it, inlcuding me ^_^.
You're on the right track, keep remembering that intent and write down all those dreams.

      Thanks
Is it possible to put too much effort into this or is that just the right thing?
Also I take medicine to lower my blood pressure (Lisinopril), can that have any effect on dream recall and LD's? I remember being very sleepy for the first few days I took it but I wonder if it may additionaly have some impact on dreams as well...?

Heh Seeker, you with the Army here or do you mean on private/business trips? I'm US born but moved here privately and think of myself as German. (which is true anyway considering my parents). I also speak German much better anyway now.

      Yes.

Trying too hard will usually only hinder progress.

Siemens is pretty big in Europe...
And it ranges from cell phones, to vacuum cleaners!

So is not showering, what you point? (I realize the previous statement was false, but I just couldn't resist to the steriotype and the obvious joke)

Anyway WELCOME!!!! Give it some time, you'll get better at it...

I can't believe I screwed up and wrote "what you point" instead of "what's your point"...I will never forgive myself for that...
