Quick queston for everyone. I've been keeping a DJ sporadically for about the last 4 months. I say sporadically because some mornings (or middle of the nights) it's just too much work/time/thinking to write out everything I'm remembering. I recently purchased a nice little digital voice recorder for school, and was wondering what you all thought about possibly keeping this by my bedside instead of a notepad, and recording my dream memories vocally. I could then either store the entries on my computer via mp3, or transcribe the entires into text later. Has anyone tried this? Does anyone think that the actual act of writing is what really aids retention, and just speaking aloud won't? Very interested to hear (read) everyone's input.
(I posted in the newbie zone because I didn't want to "invade" an area I'm not ready for. If this post should go in another area, please feel free to move it, mods!
