Well, I suppose I should introduce myself here. I'm used to one big topic where everyone can introduce their selves, but since I can't find it I think I should just make my own topic. So here I go.

I'm Sandra and I'm not new to Lucid Dreaming. I remember how I got in touch with it. It was 6 March 2005 and I was reading a topic about dreams at a Dutch forum. They talked about Lucid Dreams and one of them was a member from the Dutch forum from LD4all. She linked to it and I checked LD4all out. A few days later I registered myself, since it went wrong the first time. I got my first Lucid Dream a few months later, but most of all I enjoyed the company there. I became a member from the English LD4all forum later too and I also found out about Dreamviews. I've known for it quite some time, but I never registered until yesterday.

I’ve looked around and everything looks nice, but I still think it can’t top LD4all in how it looks (sorry) The tutorials here seem really nice; we have the idea at LD4all too, but it there aren’t so many there. It’s good to see that there are more tutorials here. I like the idea of the adoption program too, but I doubt that I will work with it.

Hmm… what else can I say about myself? I’m 17 years old and I live in the Netherlands. Unfortunately I can’t remember a lot of dreams lately. Usually I don’t have a problem with it, but I don’t know why I can’t remember them right now. It’s not that I have stress or anything, or that anything else changed. I usually don’t have to put so much effort in remembering them. Maybe I should try do autosuggestion on remembering my dreams again and that will work (:

I usually have 1 or 2 Lucid Dreams in a month, but I’m improving lately. At least the quantity is improving, since I had 3 this month and 4 the previous one. Only now I wake up before I can do anything to prolong my Lucid Dream. For example, I want to rub my hands, but I wake up before I can do it. The last two lucid dreams didn’t have that, so maybe the problem is already over.

I have no idea how active I will be here, but I doubt it will be really active. I have my hands full with other forums that also cover (lucid) dreaming, but I wanted to register anyway and we’ll see what happens.

See you around!

*edit*
Aaarg.. it makes some of my " ' " look like boxes...

*edit 2*

Okay, now it's fine. Never mind

Hi Sandra Welcome to the forum. It sounds like you've got a good LDing base to work with. And especially if you work on your recall, you'll be all set!

And I know I'm biased BUT (as anyone here, especially Exobyte, will tell you) this community of members will top any forum out there for friendliness, helpfulness, comradery, diversity, and addictiveness. Everyone knows each other and we are all adults who like hanging out, having fun, and have a similar interest in lucid dreaming. This community is definitely unique in these ways. Hang around with us long enough and you'll see exactly what I mean.

Enjoy your stay.

Thanks Burns,

Well except that I'm lazy and I don't do as many as I would want me to do with Lucid Dreaming. I always say to myself I should do more, but somehow I rarely really do that. But sometimes I do and then I do see better results.

I know what you're talking about, because I would say the same about the forum where I usual hang around. Actually I expected this would be such a nice forum, that's one of the reasons I did register in the end. I don't really think this community is unique in that way, because I know it from other places. And everywhere they say they're the best, and that's what makes it so great. Everyone feels like they're on the right place, because they belong there. (:

Hey Sandra!

Every forumer has their "home forum," but out of the many forums I've visted, I havn't seen one better then here. Though my opinion also may be slightly biased

But your absolutely right. Everyone has a different place they call home. I've come to love this forum as more then just a place on the internet. The friendship and sheer amount of trust in this community is beyond amazing. Its like a family here. But, don't let me tell you. As Burns said, stick around and find out for yourself.

But once again, everywhere is different, and its all up to preference. Home to us may or may not be home to you. Nonetheless, I think you'll find that this is a great community.

As for Lucid Dreaming, its seems that you know what your doing. Any questions though, ask away should you need help

Once again Welcome to Dreamviews. Enjoy your stay

Thank you for the welcome ExoByte,

I actually still have a question about this forum. Isn there somewhere a list with just all the posts you haven't read yet? I know there is my controls - my assistant - new posts, but that was not really what I'm looking for. I mean you can't see there if you read them or not right?

Uh... never mind. I already found it. It's besides my controls... I'm stupid

Hmm. I actually prefer DV's look to LD4All, but then again, I have prettty understated, conservative tastes. I don't like Ld4All's bright colours and new-agey patterns and stuff.

But yeah. Welcome to the forum. I just felt I had to chip in and say "Hi", so I could ask about the beautiful photo you've got as your avatar, Sandra. Is that a lillie? Did you take it yourself? (I need to get a decent photo done of me... grrr. My nose is bright red and sunburnt at the moment though, so I can't.)

totally agree... i hate the little prettiness of the whole website. i usually like stuff like that but i think i think of lucid dreaming as more adult.

but anyways welcome to the forum. i was here way before blue meanie and look at the difference between us lol. he has like a billion posts and i have what... 200 something? there are a lot of different people here, and most are open minded to anything... unless you go onto the religion forums haah, thats a whole other story. but just have fun and learn a lot, i have for sure.
