Tonight Is The Night.

Hey what's up guys? I'm new here kinda, I've watched this site for about a year now but just never had registered. Last year I tried practicing controlling my dreams for about a month or so and I don't remember why I ever stopped. But now I've been trying again lately. I've gotten my dream recall up to about 3 dreams a night again. So I've had one controlled dream so far and that was about right before I stopped last time. I remember the dream very vividly. I was in my room standing over my bed at the foot of the bed but it was like after-noon so I didn't see my self in the bed but I noticed it was a dream right away and got excited so I started looking at my hands and then it ended. So I'm pretty confident that I can do it tonight. I'm not overly confident by any means but I really think I will be getting there soon. I have been pretty patient with it and I've been practicing at not getting excited durring the dream. I've always had lucid dreams just never controlled them much. I do remember making a decision in a dream when I was little though. There were these "bad guys" that were bullying my brother and throwing his bike around and they took me in the other room. We were at my local swimming pool for some reason and I was like no! And I reached into my pocket and tryed to pull out a light sabber and cut him up with it. But unfortunatly for me there was nothing in my hand I was just waving a fake sword around. ahahaha I have some really good ideas of what to do in my dreams. And flying is my favorite thing in the world. It's always been a dream of mine and I fly nitro planes but I don't have enough money/time to get a pilots licence soo this is the 2nd closest thing to it!

Wow. Tweak is going to be thrilled with you. Have you tried WBTB? It's much easier for me than WILD. I agree that if what you say is true, then you are most certainly ready. But WBTB, from what I understand, is the easiest and most successful way.. at least it is for me. -sloth

But yeah every time I tried to do methods like WILD and stuff it just didn't work. So I just try to prepare my self before I go to bed that's all.

Also do you have a dream journal? They help you to remember your dreams and work out what your dream signs are. Also Reality Checks help you to become lucid too. haha na, it's not scaring me off. Don't worry I'm not cantankerous. I'm here for one reason, to learn more about this subject. I don't think making fun of my name for something that happened on accident will worry me. But thanks for standing up for me man! I'm still at about 3 dreams a night and still patient. I can tell I'm getting closer. I'm just working on finding my dream signs for now and hopefully I will "wake up" to them soon. edit: btw neavo I absolutly love your avatar. I'd say 4/5ths of my dreams are all lucid I just can't controll them. I'm so close I can smell it but I can't taste it. I always know I'm in a dream subconciously of course, but I just am soooo freaking close. I've had one dream that I controlled but I got too excited.. I bet you already know that though if you read my first post. Gahh, I'm still patient it's all good.

Well if you're lucid thats great, its more then what most people have! Control just takes a little bit more extra time and the excitement goes after a while, its like the body adapting to it, you just don't wake up anymore.
