      Thumbs up

      Hello!

I just joined today and I have had 1 or 2 LD experiences before but by accident the first time and the second time I knew I was dreaming I just couldn't controll it.

What I was wondering is, what way is better to LD? Like, WILDing or just recognizing dream signs and stuff or something else?

In my opinion its best to start with MILD and WBTB. For most WILD is very difficult and just comes with time once you've already started having lucids. For me it really helps to do a little meditation before bed and after I WBTB, like staring at my hand and/or taking full breaths and counting them. Also it helps to start a dream log and review it frequently so you have lots of dreams in your long term memory, making the dreamstate more comprehendable to your brain.

Yes, I have been keeping a dream log for about 4 days now and I usually remember 90% of my dreams

Hello Sentaku Welcome to the forum!

imaginefication pretty much covered what I would've recommened about trying WBTB and MILD first. WILD is difficult, especially for beginners, and for comparison, I've been LDing my whole life and I've never WILDed in my life!

Check out the tutorials if you haven't already, and please feel free to post any questions or experiences you may have.

      Good luck and have fun!
