Hey everyone, i am someone, that has been studying LDing for about 6 months, trying to figure it out and learn how. What kills me is im a guitarist in a band, and i have dreams that im playing guitar, and i cant write songs, hear the tunes while i play in my dreams and they sound awesome but i just cant remember them when i awake, my band has written one song that was based around my "dream riff" and its most liked than our other songs. Sadly to say, this is the only one i have remembered. But once I watched the movie Waking life, I was fascinated with the fact that you can control your dreams. But as far as I have gotten is remembering bits and peices of a couple dreams throughout the day, alot of the time i dont even remember them when i wake, its when i do something during the day that reminds me of the dream. Im hoping to join here and finally unlock my mind to LDing. Anyways, im out, I hope to make friends with all of you.

      Thanx for Readin

Welcome to the forum I'm also new, and trying to learn to LD! I've learned heaps in the tutorials forum so make sure to check it out! Starting a dream diary has helped with the frequency and accuracy of remembering my dreams, and there are some really informative posts about it around the site.

      Welcome

Just as 2Fruits said, keeping a dream journal would help greatly with your recall, and to check out the tutorial section.

Hope you remember more of your dream guitar so you can bust out some more dream riffs.

In your case a recorder close to the bed so you can wake up and hum the riff into it would be best. You wake up with the most awesome shredding riff, blast it into the recorder, then hopefully it sounds as good (and you remember it) from the recording.

      Hey G6t9,

Yah, that's a pretty common thing among musicians and artists who recall their dreams. You'll find threads about that if you dig around here on the forum. I found one here http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/index.php?...78&hl=music

oh, and don' forget to join the rest of us guitarists here on this thread: http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/index.php?...rists&st=60
