Stumbled upon this forum through google and it seems like there's alot of activity here! I have been dabbling around with lucid dreaming before, had some lucid dreams and generally have no trouble recalling dreams (sometimes up to 8-10 if I really try hard) but usually 4-6 dreams every night.
I have these obscure dreams where my primary dreamsigns are Context and Action (from LaBerges book). It's really quite amazing that I do not realize I am dreaming when I see cows swimming in a pool or me flying on a rope over water and stuff like that.
So I have begun doing reality checks every 20-30min (alarm on my cellphone goes off) and then observing my environment for the dreamsigns (where am I, are people acting normally, am I acting normally?).
Oh yeah, introductions include information about the poster . I am 20 year old Male from Northern parts of Sweden and this time I really want to master lucid dreaming!
I usually try to wake up after 5-6 hours of sleep and get up from bed for 30-60 min eating and reading about lucid dreaming (preferrably) then go back to sleep.
So far something that's been happening when I've come close is that I realize i'm dreaming but my dream becomes black and disappears, almost instantly. I guess it takes practice huh?
