      Question about RTs

I was wondering what's supossed to happen when you look at you hands in a dream?
I had a LD last night and decided to look at my hands to see what would happen.... but they just stayed the same as they normally are.

Well sometimes you can use your hands to do a RT or to increase vividity in a dream.

Try and push your finger through your palm for an RT...and to increase awareness rub your hands together, or through the grass/trees/or whatever has texture...

I remember hearing that a long long time ago. A friend told me that someone that can stare at his hands in a dream has the power to control them. Supposedly because you can never do that (without being lucid, I guess).

I remember thinking to myself how I wanted to look at my hands to see if it was true, but couldn't(I didn't really try that much I guess). I just dismissed that as being false.

Now, I sometimes do stare at my hands to make the dream more vivid, or to be able to notice more details and such, but have found better methods for doing this(those mentioned by Lowercase, actually)...
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

Staring at your hands is a good method to try and regain Lucidity when you feel it slipping away. As is the ground or the sky. Somthing you can focus on for whatever reason tends to bring back Lucidity. And your hands from expierements that have been done have shown more effective than the others.
