That's awesome that you beat SP! But don't forget that hallucinations (Hypnagogic Imagery) are a normal step to becoming lucid. It's not required or anything, but many people have them (including me.) |

I just thought to myself oh I'm paralyzed and then I just concentrated on becoming lucid and I had no hallucinations. Normally I would freak out when I got paralysis, but now that I know it's normal I know that there is nothing to be afraid of, therefore I just have no more hallucinations(of monsters anyways). As far as the sounds go, it was just the sound of dishes being washed and loaded into a dishwasher. |

how can u get sleep sp... pm me the answer |
|
I'm not sure how to "pm" you the answer. |

whenever i have SP i never hallucinate monsters or anything like that. i'll just be sitting there in pitch black darkness trying to move and i can't and get scared,ha. |
|
That's better than hallucinating most of the time. For most people, SP tends to give you this horrible impending doom something's-in-the-room-with-me feeling. Luckily the first time I had one of those experiences, I knew what it was and was able to break myself out of it, waking up. |

Lol, I personally don't understand why everyone is afraid of sleep peralysis... My first time getting SP, which was my second WILD attempt, I loved it lol... Feels like a big body buzz |

Good for you! Sometimes, SP can be a little scary if you've not gotten used to it, for some. It's pretty much an endurance contest, and you just have to ride the wave all the way to the shore. Glad you did it. |

I have an odd case of Sleep paralysis. It only happens when I'm at my cottage around the first week and it never happens again until I'm back . I've had it happen to me twice. The first time was really scary just because of the hallucination of the "monster" thing. I've also heard about it sorta being like a rape and that what my first experience was. It was like some shadowy(sp) figure holding me down. It only happen for a few seconds then I gained control and it ended. The second time I just couldn't move, then I got a jolt like a vibration. I don't know, I know nothing bad happens I still get a little scared when It does happen. |
