Hey people! I am DreamerDavious, I actually used to belong to another forum just like this, LD4all.com, but for some reason it doesn't seem to be loading over the past week or so. Oh well, this looks like a cool site to come as well. Unfortunately I won't be here for very long as I have an internship in New York City in a couple weeks and won't have time to post, but until then I look forward to getting around and becoming acquainted with this forum, and when I come back, that will be even better. Anyways I've been trying to lucid dream for about one or two years now, Since last year I have had a total of 10 LD's (seven this year, three last year so I seem to be improving) I have a few more from before I even knew what Lucid Dreaming was, but I can't remember all of them in detail. I have gone with every method and seem to be well versed in the techniques: MILD, WILD, VILD, Reality Checks, Autosuggestion, Dream Incubation, Looking at my hands, you name it, I've tried everything with very little and limited success. I've also been on and off dreaming over the past one or two years, I have a short attention span so I'd basically get bored with it, come back, and have to start all over again. This time I hope to do it right though, and get me some more lucids.
I am currently in the State of Pennsylvania here in the U.S, still living at home at age 19 unfortunately, and soon to embark on an internship as I said in NYC, after that I'm not sure what I'll do, probably get some full-time work and move out, all the while playing around with lucid dreams, one of my favorite hobbies, along with writing, reading, and occasionally shooting hoops outside when the weather is nice.

Anyways enough about me, I look forward to posting and reading here and getting to know everyone, so cool...

Hi DreamerDavious and welcome to DreamViews

Hey don't worry we've all made mistakes in the past just be glad you're on the better forum

Well it seems like you know what you're doing with LDing, maybe the lack of success is because of your short attention span? If you stay focused on being lucid you will get there. Just be patient and keep positive.

Hey burns, thanks for the welcome. i do keep a dream journal, I usually have a very specific routine. I wake up from a dream, I make a mental note about it (I have an excellent memory so I can usually keep it in there til the morning, though some details are lost) I wake up in the morning, and write down each dream I remember in a spiral notebook. After I write it down I can usually remember it well enough to recall details just by reading a paragraph or two, so it makes for some interesting DJ entries for my online DJ (which unfortunately is down right now) i might start one here to though, since I have so much time on my hands right now.

Anyways I almost always remember a minimum of 1 dream per night, unless I slack on my DJ'ing, but on average I remember 2-3 each night.

P.S: I love your kitty-cat avatar
