Hello everyone just finnaly got around to registering been lurking around for a few months now, been trying out lucid dreaming almost 4 times a week (im a student) i dont do much 20 years old ftw, anyway about my lucid, i usually do reverse blinking and a WILD before bed , before i sleep yes and it works fine lay there for 30 mins or so, everything goes numb then slowly i start feeling little twitches bam next thing i know im in a lucid dream and ican even make objects appear , only thing is i cant actually do this ina first person prospective lol , it may sound stupid but im always seeing myself as if im behind my self , but controling my actions still , kinda takes the realism out of it anyway, hoping to get some more control and share what i do , for my WILD or so if anyone would need it thanks. Billy

PS: i found this site after i had suffered from terrible sleep paralysis for many a year, would happen 2-3 times before i even fell to sleep! so i started searching on the net for answers aas it scared the hell out of me i literally thought i was dying, anyway now i just use it as a gateway to get into my dreams , lack of sleep, naps , drinking and partying with a messed up sleep pattern seems to help me

Hiya there, Billy! Welcome to DV, like burns said.

Also, wiutgh regards to the irrgular sleeping pattern: Though in general a regular sleep schedule is better for dreaming, in some circumstances an extremely irregular one CAN give some pretty vivid dreams and possible lucidity. Though I'd still reccommend trying to make a regular sleep schedule.

Every other day, I only sleep for 2 hours. The other days, I sleep for close to 12 hours.
It has affected my dreams, but it DOES give me time, during those 12 hour cycles, to lucid dream for hours on end.

Hi Billy , yeah some things can get in the way of sleeping like school/jobs ect. Just try and get through it and make time for dreaming when ever possible, like have naps as you suggested.

Just make sure you keep your uni work the first priority. Lucid dreamings cool but theres no point in dreaming your life away.
