Last night I had my first LD!
This is the fourth time I've tried, and it worked! I knew LDing was real, I didn't doubt it or anything but geez that was cool.
I used the WILD technique in combination with the WBTB method (its the first time I've tried WBTB).
It was very weird, I'm not sure if you'd actually classify it as a WILD.... I was trying to WILD when suddenly I heard voices in my head, voices of people at home. So my brain thought "oh I must be awake talking to my family" and a slight image appeared of myself talking to my mum and my sister. Then I heard voices of my friends from school start talking as well. This seemed a bit weird. How could I be at home talking to my family when heaps of my friends were here as well? The image faded, and then I remembered about WILDing and LDing.
I rolled over and there I was. Standing in my bedroom. It was a very low lucidity dream (it was my first so that was to be expected), but I was definitely lucid. When I got up I tried focusing on my hand, like Billybob's WILD tutorial explains, but it started fading. I would have shouted "Clarity or Lucidity Now!" or something like that but I couldn't open my mouth. For some reason when I tried to open it I could feel myself opening my real mouth instead of my dream one. . It was beginning to fade really fast, and I thought I should try spinning, but it faded before I got the chance.
Even though it was a pretty crappy lucid dream, and it sounds boring and all, just the fact that it was a lucid dream was enough to make my day. :yumdumdoodledum:
Anyone got advice on how I could have kept it going or made it clearer?
