Thumbs up

      Hey,

I am of course a noob, I have a question. I have trouble laying on my back to go to sleep, I there and lay there trying to go to sleep but I just cant. I am used to laying on my right side, usually. I have read things about laying on your back and never on your side. My question is, could I get used to laying on my back if I really wanted to, or should I even lay on my back if I cant go to sleep? When I lay on my side I almost instantly go to sleep.

      Please Help....

      -Brett

laying on your back can be useful for some methods, but if you cant fall asleep or get comfortable then you really dont have much of a chance lol. go to sleep where you feel most comfortable. dont worry it wont hurt anything I cant fall asleep on my back either but i can still do all the techniques on the site. Including WILD.

Last night I tried reverse blinking on my back and could not do it. After I finally gave up and went to sleep on my side, I almost fell instantly asleep. I say do whatever is comfortable to you.

It is worth working on though. I too was / am a right side sleeper. I have gotten much better at being able to relax on my back and it really has improved my LD'ing.

I don't get why you want to sleep on your back when it's not comfortable. Btw, whats reverse blinking?

Hey thanks guys, yea I will try to each night but if I dont succeed then I will go back to my side. I just cant wait till my FIRST lucid dream. I am of course excited but I can usually stay calm so hopefully I will be able to stay in it longer than a second, but who knows....
