Are dreams connected to the real world?
By this I mean things like:

If you go to the bathroom in your dream, will you wet the bed?
If you perposely have a false awakening, do you wake up?
      ETC?

It'd be good to know, thanks.

EDIT: Thanks all. I don't want to post again. I don't think "Thanks" counts as much of a post.
      My dream stats:

      1 LD a week.
      Currently trying MILD.
      Lucid Training time: 6 months.
      Lucid Age: 2 months.

I've gone to the bathroom in dreams plenty without wetting the bed.
Except when I used to wet the bed, that's a different story.

I think you should be safe doing anything you want in a dream.

Funny thing really. My having to go to the bathroom while sleeping usually induces a LD. If I find myself using a restroom in my sleep I become lucid, unfortunately I have to cut the LD short and wake up to physically go to the bathroom. I don't want to take the chance of physically wetting the bed.

One time I had to piss really really badly in real life (realized this when I woke up). My entire dream pretty much consisted of me taking a piss like everywhere I went but I still had to go.

If you purposely have a false awakening, you will probably have a false awakening.
If you try to wake yourself up, you will probably wake up in real life (or have a false awakening if it doesn't work). I do this by closing my eyes and concentrating on my real body.

If you find yourself going to the bathroom a lot that means you have to go in real life. In normal dreams nothing happens but I wouldn't try to pee in a lucid because I think it may be possible that when you're close to waking up you do it with your real body instead of your dream body.
